- How much does it cost to register?
- LCB has prided itself over the years of holding
registration fees down to the lowest possible amount.
For Spring '10 registration is $90.00 for players in Tee Ball
and $100.00 for Training through Junior League.
The registration fee for Training through Junior League
now includes the scorekeeper fee. For Challenger Division the registration cost cost is
$55.00.
- Why is there no longer a
fundraiser?
- For many years LCB had both a registration fee and a
requirement for every registrant to participate in a
fundraiser. The fundraiser involved either choosing to
sell a box of candy or electing to "buy-out" the
fundraiser option. For the past few seasons the majority
of parents were choosing the buy-out option rather than
making the effort to sell, plus we heard of many
businesses discouraging fundraiser sales by their
employees. In addition we frequently heard of health
concerns with candy and that much of it was being eaten
at home. Therefore we've chosen to discontinue the
fundraiser and simply roll it into the cost of
registration.
- What do I get for my money?
- A great value. Your child gets 3 to 4 months of baseball instruction,
clinics, team play and organized game experience
- and you get to cheer him or her on. The registration fee
also includes a hat, jersey, socks and belt for every
player.
- What is the refund policy?
- All fees paid to LCB are non-refundable. In rare cases exceptions are made and these can only be authorized by the league president.
