Online registration for our Fall 2010 season is now OPEN and ready to receive your registration.

For this Fall season we will have Tee Ball (ages 4 through 6), Training League (machine-pitch for ages 7 and 8), Minor League (ages 9 and 10), Major League (ages 11 and 12) and Junior League (ages 13 through 15). Clicking on the Register Now link below will take you to our quick, easy and secure online registration.

Registration fee for Fall '10 is $60.00 (plus a $3.00 convenience fee for online registrants)

Every age-level league will play two games per week for 6 weeks (12 games total).

Practices begin on Tuesday, Sep 7 and games on Monday, September 20.

No games are currently scheduled for Wednesdays or Saturdays, but that could change based on how many registrants we have. Tee Ball and Training League play at 5:30 PM, Minor League plays at 5:30 and 7:30 PM and Major League at 7:30 PM. These leagues play at Peterson Park. Junior League's games start at 6:30 PM at Lake Bonny Park.

Our Fall season is a fun, instructional time. It's also a time to prepare players for the upcoming Spring season, so we determine the player's league by considering their league age for next Spring.

We do not play Challenger Division in Fall.

A few Q & A’s about registration and shirt sizes –

(For much more information please see the FAQs)

How much does it cost to register?
For our Fall '10 season the registration fee is $60.00. A $3.00 convenience fee will be added to all online registrations. There is a $120.00 maximum registration fee per family ("family max") and scholarships are available to those who qualify. If you need more information about scholarships, click on the Contact button above and send us a message. We'll get in touch with you to discuss your needs.
Which age-level league should my child play in?
For those new to LCB, our leagues are set up by ages, more specifically, "league age". If you think your child should play at a higher or lower age level league, please make that note on the online registration form in the Comments area, or note your preference on the printed registration form at walk-up registration. For those returning to LCB, the same considerations apply. Normally a player spends two seasons at a particular age level, then moves up.
How do I determine my child's "league age"?
Your child's league is his or her age as of April 30 of each year. Click here to see a league age chart for the current season.
Tell me more about shirt sizes.
The registration forms use youth and adult tee-shirt size indications. Some people are more familiar with the sizing system found in stores for youth sizes, so here’s a cross-reference:
Store size Tee shirt size
5 Youth Extra Small (YXS)
6-8
Youth Small (YS)
10-12
Youth Medium (YM)
14-16
Youth Large (YL)
  Adult Small (AS)
  Adult Medium (AM)
  Adult Large (AL)
  Adult extra Large (XL)
The uniform shirts we supply are a cotton/polyester blend, therefore there will minimal shrinkage with repeated washing and drying. Remember also that the Spring season can be 3 to 4 months long and some kids will grow during that period, so we suggest you select a shirt size a little larger than what your child is currently wearing.
Tell me more about the shirts.
For many seasons we have used the same brands and model shirts for our players and adult volunteers. The basic tee shirt we use for Tee Ball, Training and Challenger is a Gildan G800 Ultra Blend and the two-button shirts for Minor League and up are Soffe models B206 and M206 (youth and adult), which are a 5.5 oz. cotton/poly blend. Over the years we've experimented with other brands and fabrics, including 100% cotton and the modern wicking materials but found that these Gildan and Soffe models give us the best combination of durability, economy, consistency in sizing and colors than any others. We understand that by locking ourselves into these shirts we're sacrificing our ability to negotiate a better price by not considering other brands and models, but we prefer that to having inconsistent sizes and colors by jumping around from brand to brand. That being said, we still hear the occasional "the shirts seem to be running small" statement. There could be many explanations for this, but more than likely the player has outgrown a particular size and the parents haven't noticed. We strongly suggest the parents look at last season's shirt as a guide for what to do this season. It might be best to select the next size up: the season is long, and they'll probably grow into it.
