Tournament of Champions ("TOC")
Welcome to the Lakeland City Baseball TOC resource page. If you're here it's probably because your team placed 1st or 2nd in the regular season and was invited to participate in TOC. The District 4 Tournament of Champions is a district-wide tournament where division 1st and 2nd place teams from the regular season are invited to compete with their counterparts from other leagues in our Little League district.
This year LCB sent two teams from Orange and two teams from Tangerine for Training, Minor and Major League, plus two teams for Junior League - 14 teams in all.
We thank you for your willingness to participate in these tournaments, and we know the kids are excited for the chance to play other teams in our area.
The tournaments are in double-elimination format.

TOC Junior League Tournament News
6/15 - (final report) With depleted pitching,
Sessums & Sessums lost to Plant City National in an elimination
bracket game, putting them out of the tournament. North Lakeland
American was the eventual winner of the elimination bracket, moving
on to face Plant City National in the championship game. North
Lakeland American won the game, but because it was Plant City
National's first loss it forced an second, 'if necessary' game on
Saturday. North Lakeland American beat Plant City National a second
time 22-3 to take the Junior League TOC title.

TOC Major League Tournament News
6/15 - (final report) Met Drugs faced Plant City
American in the elimination bracket final and won 6-4, sending them
to the championship game versus Haines City National. Unfortunately
Met Drugs could not get enough players and forfeited the final game.
Haines City National came away with the Major League TOC title.

COGISTICS - MINOR LEAGUE TOC CHAMPS!
6/5 - (final report) In a rousing finale to
the Minor League TOC event held in Lake Alfred, Cogistics overcame a
strong Joy Morse State Farm team to win the championship game. We
congratulate manager Scott Schaal and the entire Cogistics team for
their fantastic performance. Our thanks go out to Envisors,
Corporate Concepts, Joy Morse State Farm and Cogistics for
representing our league at this TOC event. You represented LCB well
with your athletic abilities and sportsmanship.

TOC Machine Pitch Tournament News
6/5 - (final report) They put up a good battle, but ultimately Southeastern
University could not keep up with North Lakeland National and lost
their second game in the tournament. All LCB teams are now out of
the machine pitch tournament but did very well. Both Southeastern
and Conner Construction were undone by the North Lakeland National
team, who faces Plant City American in the championship game. We
congratulate Asher Insurance, Conner Construction, Ross Vecchio and
Southeastern for a job well done!
